Dawson Gray wasn’t always set on a music career …
Growing up playing baseball, his eyes were on going pro. An issue with his eyesight preventing him from this dream, he discovered a new love, with a little help from his friends.
Dawson dove right in to the world of creating music, songwriting and performing.
A staple in the BC- country music scene, he’s often found playing alongside his buddies Ben Dunhill and Mitch Zorn at Red Bird Beer.
We got to know Dawson for the first time “On the Porch” and learned a lot about him. Dawson treats his music career with care and a business mind. He’s successfully secured music grants to fund building his dream, and talked about the hours he put into applications.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
