[WATCH] Madeline Merlo To Make Her Grand Ole Opry Debut In October!

Canadian Country artist Madeline Merlo has been busy making waves on the other side of the border since she scored her first #1 as a songwriter with Lady A’s “Champagne Night”, and signed her first US record deal with BBR Music Group.

Her newest single “Broken Heart Thing” features 9-time #1 artist Dustin Lynch. Lynch is familiar with Canadian duet partners, as his single “Thinkin’ Bout You” featuring MacKenzie Porter scored a #1 slot at radio in both the United States and Canada.

Madeline was surprised by Dustin and her team with her official invite to make her debut at the Grand Ole Opry this October.

The 2024 CCMA Female Artist of the Year nominee recently played Boots and Hearts Music Festival and released a jewelry collaboration with Sunday Club Apparel.

Madeline also took to her Instagram stories to announce her new EP, ONE HOUSE DOWN (from the girl next door), dropping October 11, available for pre-save now.

More About Madeline Mero

Madeline Merlo grew up in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. She grew up always knowing she wanted to be a singer. She signed to a record label at only 18, gained radio success, tour dates and awards, including the Canadian Country Music Association’s Rising Star Award in 2015.

Madeline was featured on the second season of NBC’s Songland where she won the first episode, seeing the eventual radio release of her first billboard number one single “Champagne Night” which was released by Lady A. Songland opened many doors for Madeline, including an opportunity with her brand new record label, BBR Music Group and her publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing.

Madeline is nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 CCMA Awards in Edmonton in September. Her single “Tim + Faith” hit #6 at Canadian country radio. Her latest single “Broken Heart Thing” features mega-star Dustin Lynch. Her new EP will be released October 11, and includes “Broken Heart Thing”, “Same Car” and four brand new songs.
