Manitoba emerging artist Brandi Vezina is getting into the holiday spirit with her brand new single “No More Tears This Christmas”
Brandi is also hot off a win at the Manitoba Country Music Awards for NCI Indigenous Country Music award, along with nominations for Female Artist Of The Year, Music Video Of The Year, and Interactive Artist Of The Year.
“No More Tears This Christmas”
Brandi Vezina and her bandmates set out to write something catchy & lighthearted with a bit of a cheeky side.
“Romantic songs are not quite in my wheelhouse; however, my band and I were on a writing trip and had fun writing this one together,” says Brandi.
Packed with jingle bells, a classic beat, ugly Christmas sweaters, and Christmas love, “No More Tears This Christmas” is a sweet addition to your holiday playlist.
On writing a song for the holidays, “Christmas means to me time with friends & family, relaxation as I’m still a part time school teacher and rest. I love Christmas decorations and baking.”

Brandi Vezina, a spirited Indigenous Red River Metis, embodies resilience, amplified by her upbringing with a single mother. Her essence intertwines with nature, advocating for animals and championing the legacy of the next Seven Generations. Passion fuels her artistry, resonating in melodies that mirror her life, love, and truths. Unapologetically herself, she marches to her rhythm, a spiritual outlaw unafraid to speak her mind.

This year at the Manitoba Country Music Association Awards, Brandi took home the NCI Indigenous Country Music Award. Beyond accolades, she earned her spot among Front Porch Music’s “10 Indigenous Country Artists You Should Know.” Her prowess continued in 2023, nominated for the Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Awards’ Metis Artist/Group of the Year.
