Chevy Beaulieu Releases Self-Titled Debut Album After Breakthrough Year

Chevy Beaulieu

Alberta country artist Chevy Beaulieu has officially arrived.

The rising country artist released his self-titled debut album via 604 Records, following a breakthrough year that included national radio attention, more than one million streams, a Billboard Canadian Country chart entry, and a Horizon Male Artist of the Year win at the 2026 Country Music Alberta Awards.

Telling Stories and Connecting With Fans Through The Album

Across 12 tracks, Chevy brings together the sound he has been building over the past year: traditional country storytelling, barroom humour, heartbreak, sharp hooks, and a rough-around-the-edges honesty that has quickly made him one of the artists to watch in Canada’s next wave of country music.

The album’s focus track, “Hell If I Know,” is a fan favourite from Chevy’s live show. Written by Chevy and Walker Tompkins, the song finds him caught somewhere between bad habits, bad luck, and a job he can’t stand, all building toward a soaring chorus.

As Chevy often puts it from the stage, “Hell If I Know” is a song about “cocaine and hating your job.” It’s a blunt introduction to a song built around the feeling of wanting out, even when you have no idea where you’re headed next.

That lived-in perspective runs throughout the album. Chevy doesn’t try to smooth out the rough edges. Instead, he leans into them, moving between heartbreak songs, honky-tonk moments, barroom one-liners, and the kind of real-life storytelling that has become central to his sound.

The album includes previously released singles “If We Want To,” “She’ll Come Back Around,” “Alcohol You,” “Headlights and Memories,” “Any Easier,” “Forget Her Goodbye,” “Maybe Tomorrow,” “Look At Me,” and “Give A Damn,” alongside new tracks “Killin’ Me,” “Hell If I Know,” and “Baby, I Do.”

Together, the 12 songs show the full range of Chevy Beaulieu. “Give A Damn” leans into the defiant side of his Haggard-and-Waylon influences, while “Look At Me” brings out a softer, more melodic side. “Alcohol You” and “Forget Her Goodbye” are built for honky-tonk storytelling, while “Headlights and Memories” and “Any Easier” explore the more reflective side of heartbreak.

More About Chevy Beaulieu

Raised in Steen River, Alberta and now based in Airdrie, Chevy has spent the past year building serious momentum. His debut single “If We Want To” surpassed one million streams, reached the Top 30 at Canadian country radio, and was named Stingray’s New Country Trending Track. “She’ll Come Back Around” later entered the Billboard Canadian Country chart, and Chevy took home Horizon Male Artist of the Year at the 2026 CMAB Awards.

He has also performed at JUNOfest and CCMA House, and opened for artists including Steven Lee Olsen and JoJo Mason.

With his self-titled debut, Chevy Beaulieu is putting his own stamp on Canadian country music; gritty, funny, honest, and full of songs that feel like they’ve been lived in before you ever press play.
