July 7th saw the release of BC-based Jaimey Hamilton’s brand new single, “Stompin’ Ground”. Today Front Porch Music has the exclusive premiere for the music video for “Stompin’ Ground.”
About “Stompin’ Ground” And The Music Video
Jaimey Hamilton is rooted in family and music, and “Stompin’ Ground” offers an ode to both. With the reminiscence of good times spent with the people you love, Hamilton’s new single will have you dreaming of your favourite days.
“I’m in my element when I’m surrounded by my family and friends that I love. Country music brings me a similar feeling. I hope that everyone who discovers ‘Stompin Ground’ is reminded of a place, a song, and the people that bring them joy and happiness,” says Jaimey.
The music video offers a look into Jaimey’s life growing up, including summers spent on Cowichan Lake.
“We filmed the video in Cowichan Lake, British Columbia, where I spend my summers with family and friends. This beautiful spot on the lake and the people in it are what originally inspired me to write this song. I wanted the video to capture that setting, so I could share what my own ‘Stompin’ Ground’ really looks like.”
