After a 2023 of highs for Ontario artist Tyler Lorette, he returns today with his brand new single “In The Dark”.
“In The Dark” follows the streaming success of previous singles, “Movin’ On”, “Shattered”, and “Phantom”.

Lost In Love “In The Dark”
Channeling a dynamic, emotionally charged side, “In The Dark” explores a love found in the simplest of places, with someone you’ve known forever and realizing the person you’re with isn’t quite who you’re thinking of. Tyler delves into the theme of being in love with a best friend and grappling with the idea of telling them for fear of jeopardizing the friendship.

“In The Dark” is delivered through this feeling of longing; looking at the person you’re with and thinking of someone else. That feeling of being stuck between someone you like; and someone you’ve known forever and aren’t sure if telling them how you feel will ruin your friendship.
Relatable and understood by many, finding creative inspiration in common experiences is the simplest, but also most “country” way of connecting with listeners.
“In The Dark” highlights Tyler’s continued growth as an artist and storyteller, as he continues to explore the pop rock-infused country sound that best suits him.

About Tyler Lorette
At the young age of 20, Tyler is an accomplished singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who is taking the music scene by storm with his ability to connect with people of all walks of life. In just a short time, his online streams have soared, and he has quickly amassed a world-wide fan base of dedicated listeners.
Tyler has been playing the guitar since the tender age of four, and the piano and drums since he was eight. He is no stranger to performing and by the time he was 12 he was already performing over 100 shows a year and writing and recording original music.
Beyond releasing music, Tyler Lorette is also pursuing a music degree at Berklee College of Music, showcasing his dedication to honing his craft.
